Mark C. Stewart, MD, is a board-certified orthopedic surgeon providing surgical care to people of all ages living in and around Bay City, Michigan.

Dr. Stewart began his professional pursuits at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan, earning his Doctor of Medicine. After graduation, he remained at Wayne State University, completing an orthopedic surgery residency.

Dr. Stewart opened his practice in 1986. In the years since, he has diagnosed and treated a wide range of orthopedic problems, including those that affect the knees, hips, shoulders, hands, and spine. 

Dr. Stewart never rushes through appointments. He always makes time to understand a patient’s symptoms and goals for treatment. Then, he uses that information to develop surgical treatment plans that provide lasting relief.

Whenever possible, Dr. Stewart uses minimally invasive surgery, but he also has experience in traditional open techniques. Dr. Stewart holds hospital privileges for surgeries at Bay Regional Medical Center in Bay City.
